250 W MH Light System

I am looking for a 250W MH system for a 35 Gallon hex, max size 24in. Can anybody recommend a good system, I would like to keep hard and soft corals. Thanks!

Do you want to use a light fixture or retrofit(installed inside of a canopy).

I just got an excellent MH retrofit from Ebay, all high quality components for a total of $183.

How tall is your tank?

retrofit is a good way to go, saves you money

It is a hex tank so there is not a canopy. I will have to hang the light above the aquarium. Any suggestions? Is there a big difference between the single pendant style with 1x250w 10000K and the combined lights that have the MH and PC together. Thanks!
