I think we might just have to do a Boston Terrier meet pretty soon!

Oh, I've got a big dog too. But as for the Boston Terrier meet, lets just say that mine "does not work well with others"

How is Jimmy?

Callie was a year old on Jan 10. Doing great.

Thats funny!

I am gonna get some more pics up with the tank on the actual stand, almost done with the stand just need to add a couple more moldings then stain it. I hope to have this thing runnung in 3-4 weeks time.

I haven't even thought of my fish stocking list yet, I have a few fish in mind but still have lots of room for more. Anyone suggest anything nice?

Hey Chris, what do you have in mind for circulation? Depending on your plans, I have an OM-4way version #3 available. It's never seen water and might work well for you. I also have Gary M's old 75gal sump if you're still looking.

Finally decided and have in posession a sump! It's a 75G that will go directly under the main tank. (Legend has it, this sump belonged to Gary M.'s tank which was featured on RC "Tank of the month"!)

Also placed an order several days ago for part of the lighting set-up..I will keep it a secret until it arrives.

Progress is moving rather slowly due to my floors being finished but 90% done with floors which means some more focus is going back to the tank build!

is it a Perfecto 75?
What year was it built?
If that particular aquarium belonged to me it was either my first reef aquarium or my clownfish grow out tank.

One 75 gallon I sold was purchased by a fella that wanted it for an Arrowana. Obviously an Arrowana would outgrow a 75, but he purchased the aquarium anyway.

It was built in 1994, dont really know how to tell if it is a perfecto. The only thing I see is a picture of an anchor? Maybe some kind of company logo?

Hey Gary, I picked it up from you probably 1-1.5yrs ago. Initially, I was going to use it as a sump, but then decided to go with something a little bigger :)

Well finally getting the lighting together on this project! Finally decided to go with 2 Lumenarc reflector mini's on both sides and a 400W MH in the middle with a custom reflector supplemented with 2 6' foot Vho lamps.

Clearance is somewhat of an issue with the lights, there isn't much space only about a 1' 1/2 from tank to the ceiling of the basement.

Hopefully will be putting the "custom sliding rack" together this week!

I should be recieving a nice little care package in the mail from my wife (my early B-day gift)

I should be drilling my sump tommorow to install my return pump soon. I am going to run the tank just below the overflow level until my return pump is ready. I will be finshing the plumbing Tmw. night, just a matter of putting it all together now.
