Joe are you going to used the 7095 multicontroller to run the 3 tunze streams?

yup

oops I just checked my 6000 and it's really a 6100. So I don't need the transformer but that was a good idea, I didn't know I could do that.

they all say 6100 on the back. is the transformer small.on the sticker it will say 11v for the 6000 and 19v for the 6100.

That is what I did, Joe. Have you considered using VorTech pumps, or do you already own the Tunze Streams?

Not really, I wasn't that impressed with them at MACNA. I'll check them out again. I was planning on buy the 2 streams and controller.

Joe you can put the wider cone on your 6100 stream that you have ,i would try the wider cone first before you buy the 6200 stream.

I asked Tunze about the larger front nozzle for the 6100 and they said it will give you a wider cone but with decrease in velocity on the 6100 pump.

Is it wise to drill the EuroBracing? Isn't it there for structural integrity of the tank overall? I'd hate to see your tank fail because of a few 1" holes in your bracing
It's done all the time, I have a few in mine without problems. Joe, I just made the decision to ditch my CL and switch to Tunze 6100. It's hard to argue with the energy savings and increased flow!

Zoom this will give you a good mix when you used it with two or three 6100 streams.
Not in a six foot tank... it will cut back the velocity and the flow will not get to the other end of the tank.
I was going to get them but i need to get the flow across the other side of my tank .

I decided to have the bottom drilled for a closed loop after all. So I'll have one 1.5" drain and four 1" returns. Probably look into using an Oceans Motions 4 way on it.

I'd second the OM 4-way. While I'm not a big fan of closed loops, I'm a big fan of return pumps. :) I think every return pump should have one.

If you really wanted to get nuts, you can employ a 4-way with a Wavysea on each outlet. I don't use a canopy, otherwise I probably would have done it.

I have a six foot long tank and it will get to other end ,tank size All Glass 180 gal 24 in wide 24 in deep 6 foot long. Try it you will like it.

You can DIY your 6100 cones to widen the flow.............cut the cone end down & I think you also take out some of the strainer bars. There's a thread somewhere on RC about it.

Ok i get two ....where you keep the Controller at, interval 2 ?
I like to keep my at interval 2 so one pump is always at 30% and the other 100% and pulsing and the pumps pointing the front center. i like to know how you set your at so i can try with the wider nozzle.

7095 multicontroller
pules 6s

channel 2

get one wider nozzle to start with, put it on the stream with the most open water in front of it.

Just hurry up and get the thing going and work your magic while I'm still working in NYC so I can talk you into letting me come and check it out!!

;)
