Thanks Tbone - the latest trend lately seem to be 'less is more concept and I'm still toying with the idea if I should have the pillar next to the overhang to be lower?? what do you think?? Leave it or change it?? I love open spaces where the corals and fishes have more space to grow and swim... I'm hoping to also create a 'Weasts Tank' pathway between the left and right island?? I know my width is insufficient to look like Weasts scape but a man can try, can't he??

Got confirmation that my stand will be delivered this Sat noon… will keep you all update on the new stand.

Also went to the tank maker to look at my sump tank. I must say he did quite a good job considering it’s in glass for my rather complicated tank and the communication challenge. Took me a while to explain the drawings to them due to my below average Chinese and their non-existence English…

After hours of drawings, body language, it was the experiences of the tank maker that manage to understand my drawings and purposes. See…..’Reefing Language’ is universal… ☺
I ask my tank maker to deliver the sump tank this Sun morning as my new stand should be deliverd…

My main tank might take a few more days as the low iron glass has not arrived yet…

Today I finally manage to figure put how to put together my Profilux ATO water level sensors… can’t find instructions anywhere….they should have more info in the manual for this…. ☺ or maybe I’m just too dumb…. ☺

For those of you who are like me, attached is a picture of how the final product should look like… !

Ed, I think lowering the pillar next to the overhang would like better. A height in between the short and tallest pillar would look nice, giving a sloped appearance

Thanks Tbone - that what I figure as well as those 2 pillars are almost the same height and thus look kinda out of place.... only thing is less pillar height = less SPS... hahaha but I guess I should have enough space for SPS bearing in mind this is a 3 side view tank... Ed

Ed, you'll be fine with keeping many SPS even with a slightly shorter pillar as long as you place the ones that need more light on the taller one :)

Thanks Danskim.... will play around with it a bit more and see what I can come out with but I do agree a shorter pillar will create a better contrast.

Cheers...Ed

Ed, you won't be removing that much height off the pillar, so you're not losing too much real esate. Besides, you would need to leave room for the SPS to grow anyway :)

Agree..... will redo that pillar and post new pictures... good thing with dead rocks is you can play with it for weeks and no worries... :)

Sweet mock up Ed. I did that in the garage and everything changed in the house. I liked all the arrows telling me where all the acros are going. Can you please name each one for me :D

Didn't think of it but now that u mention it..... :rolleye1: I just might...I tried to keep them in my early days of reefing but can't seem to keep them alive for long as one day they are all great and the next they just shrunk up and disappear?...

Ummm, normally "early days of reefkeeping" translates into "I don't know what the heck I was doing, and so my water parameters were all out of whack :D
