Looks great. I have the same tank that I'm in the process of re-starting. Do you have a problem with jumpers? When I had the tank up before, I lost quite a few fish to "carpet surfing" (well, tile surfing in my case). I'm looking for some kind of mesh top, but I think it will ruin the rimless look.

Have only had 1 jumper (knock on wood) a fire fish..... everything else seems fine again I'm not doing wrasses I wish I could but I know they'll end up on the floor

Couple more coral shots crappy close ups (rovster)

nice build.

Quick question - do have the tank supported at just the corners as seen in the pics or is it supported around the entire perimeter or did you add a flat board across before placing the tank down.

I ask because I just bought a 2nd hand deep blue rimless that has a stand with just outside support. I'm running a leak test this weekend but nervous about having no support directly under the tank.

thanks and once again - congrats !!!

Mine was actually a second hand me down to :) fun tank yo have word of advice choose your corals carefully lol space is limited

I may have some too, LOL! Not sure where. They are cheap either way.....

You're supposed to run the wire on the top of the tank so if the dry side comes free it just hangs there. Usually need 1-2 per pump depending on how the cords are run.

I bought these from ebay and they absolutely suck (the glue on the back). be ready to have to add a drop of glue to them so they can actually stick.

Was the surface clean. I could not separate mine from my biocube when I sold it. I've had mine on my tank for a while now and no issues, and I've had to tug on them a few times to feed the wire (too lazy to cut the tiewrap, LOL).

I'm sure the adhesive component matters and you definitely want a clean dry surface.

Well since we're keeping this thread alive I'll go ahead and post an update. So my protein skimmer pump took a dump on me and had a small oil leak in my stand. Went ahead and replaced with a pump I originally wanted when I built the tank the dc6000 from jeboa. Thing works like a champ love the feed mode feature as well as slow start up. Made minor adjustments to plumbing to get it all put together and it looks and sounds much better :) I'll post a pic of the pump plumbed in later on tonight for now enjoy a recent FTS
