5.56 225 Peninsula reboot

So you need to enlarge some holes for your sump, is there room for the 1 1/2" new hole. I bought a tool that can enlarge the hole saw. Do you need it?

Actually I clamped a piece of plywood to the sump and used a holesaw through that. What kind of tool do you have? I'm fascinated to see how it works

Can you help with the move?

^^^^^ That's my tool.

When is the move? They called me Sponge Bob at work not because I was square and yellow but weak.

I'm thinking next weekend.

The plan is to empty most of the 135 and slide it over about 4 feet

Then refill it

Then put the 225 in it's place.

I can spend sunday and the rest of the week setting it up and the fallowing weekend, transfer livestock.

That's the plan.

Here is a hose barb adapter I made for the Vectra M1. I am connecting it to the plumbing with silicone hose to reduce noise and vibration + I have never thought to my self: "Gee, I am so glad that pump was connected with hard pipe" just seems that hard pipeing pumps causes mope problems than it solves.

Well, transferring everything into the new tank this weekend. I have over 200# new live rock that I got from mikes giant garage sale. It’s been cooking in Steve’s saltwater pond for 2 months. I got 6 sticks of the instant ocean brand “aquastick” because it was $5/stick. The plan is to lay down 2mil plastic, spread out all my rock like puzzle pieces and build what the rocks lend themselves to. I think it’s going to be a long freaking weekend.

Transfer day is started, I have all the new rock, which has been cooking in Steve's saltwater pond for 2 months staged for easy access. Next step is to remove all the rock from the 135. I have stainless steel brushes to remove any algae and I'll be stageing it in totes so I can aquascape as I see best.

Let me know if tomorrow isn't going to work for pickup up the 135...! Looks like you're gonna be pretty busy.
Oh no, it will be fine.

I have to have everything transfers by the time I go to sleep this evening or it will be catastrophic.

I have a few friends stopping by to help.
