wow those tangs look amazing wayne and that box fish is huge! Dont stress it out...I hear that if they get stressed out they can secrete a mucus that can kill other fish in the tank.

Thanks Steve. I love them. Someone broke down their tank and there were some pieces of live rock with mad hair algae. So I put my tangs to the test and only the foxfire and scopas tangs killed it. Only thing I had to remove was my large red gorg because everytime the polyps came out the scopas would pick on them.

As for the e box fish, you are right but he's only about 4 inches but nobody messes with him. He only comes out when he sees me.

What stage are you at with the Solatubes? Can you show us what you're planning?

Thx

Still at the learning stage Dave. The suggestion as of now is two 14 inch tubes. I went to the manufacturer last week and saw them in person. They suggest ceiling mounted with the lense but I need to go there on a sunny day with a par meter and see what the readings are. The distance from the ceiling to the waterline on my tank is 27-30 inches so that will play the role because if I have to manufacture to get it lower I might as well stick with my original lighting plans.
