I don't really care what any of this does tbh mate, i just think it looks so cool that i want it no matter what it all means :)

Any weekend acro pics coming ? ;)

You should be very proud of your SPS reef mate, it's absolutely stunning and those chromis hovering over the middle just looks amazing. Beautiful tangs

Yes, just screw in the metal directly. You may need better quality screws, but I think only because I live in Taiwan worry that, in US, HomedDepot or other HW stores should be fine. Haha....

BTW, I attach with two screws instead of one. Just feel safer.

I will share a photo with cable later after I back home. Sorry for late.

Hello shin
Just a quick post to thank you for the lift pictures!
Both my Ati fixtures are now going up and down perfectly!

All the best,

I am a big fan of your cabinet organization and wire management skills. Thanks for the inspiration.

Indeed. If I'd had known training to be an Engineer can help me build better reef aquariums, heck I'd have followed my father's insistent footsteps LOL.

....

Thanks. I am always impressed how many horizontal thinking and creativities on your tank. Reading your talk with reefers, it is so much fun.... Haha

I am preparing something else for my tank with fixed deadline, so aero pics could be a bit late except once a month FTS. Will work on it soon.

Oh, great. I bet you will love it. I original was a bit worry about how strong these screws can hold, but two years pass, it is really holding weight without any issue. Enjoy....

Thanks. There are many other tanks even more organized than mine. just recently I saw one, I will find it and share to you.

Haha.... I was trained by Intel and Cisco. Spent many days and nights in rack room and forced to make all cable organized to avoid panic when crisis happen.

Hi Shih,

I see that your dosing container is not very big. Was wondering how often you have to top them up? Are they all dosing in very small amounts?

Do you stir iron?

The macroelements are af component abc is that right?

I did not see kh,mg,ca dosing containers :)

I have huge container on the other side of my cabinet for Baking soda, CaCl2, MgCl2, AF RMS as below...
(bigger one is for baking soda)

Other dosing container are 280 ml only, but with small amount of supplements need by AF and KZ method, I only need to refill every 6 weeks or even longer. I haven't calculate components abc for that yet.

I only dose Iron and Coral foods (KZ CV, Amino, etc...) manually, since it is hard to dilute with distilled water and it may require shake before dosing.

Hope this help.

Have just checked my GHL setting, I dose component a,b,c, 12 ml per day each for my 190 gallon tank, so for 280 ml container, I should be able to only hold my refill period 3 weeks ;-(

I think I will reduce dosing to half if traveling longer than 3 weeks.... sigh...

Wait, maybe I can change to use AF "component strong"!?...not sure, well check

Poor man in-sump frag tank. 42cm(W) x 50 cm(L) x 35cm(H) size with AI 26HD. No winch, but easy enough to pull high or low.

Looks like a refugium.
Do you out frags in there? Do you see any change in coral when switching them from the ATI T5 to pure LED?

It is a refugium. I used to put frag rack on display tank, but it block some view and sea urchin always steal my frags:sad2: I figure refugium is a better place unless I build a separated frag tank.

Can't tell much different yet since I don't have many frags available and a few there just for about 3 days. Will update if I see any change.

Cheers,

While fighting still on red turf algae for months, but coral performance is ok. I think I am winning the battle of red turf algae so finally able to take some time for update.
