I placed an order with Reefspecialty almost a month ago for the Octo 200 external. They said the shipment was stuck in customs and they were supposed to be in the beginning of this week however I not heard anything from them at this point. Do you have any pics of the mods you performed? Would love to see them. Btw...where are you located?

Shea a whopping 33 post and have you gotten water in that tank yet? What has it been 2 years. You need to come up to G-Vegas and check out the system.

We have one LFS in this city, in fact IIRC it was voted the WORST in NC due to its treatment of animals on some website...years in a row.
I hadn't been in it since 2002.
I was actually there 3 days ago as I was passing by, the only thing that had changed is they moved stuff around.
Still dirty, cramped overpriced and underknowledged.
I witnessed a Monti digi (brown) frag about 2" in height get sold for $60.
I was speechless.

we have a store here in waynesville that is just as bad...guy doesnt know his @$$hole from his elbow when it comes to the hobby. He has his "coral" tank which is more live a graveyard that is lit by a shoplight!!!!!! Yes, a shoplight, a standard single fluorescent tube. Poor corals, he should pay me to take them home and keep them alive. Not to mention he doesnt know what a protein skimmer is, he has 2 biowheel HOB filters as the only filtration on a 300+ gallon setup. God only knows how he stays in business...
Yeah I don't really post on here that often. Umm, funny story actually. Got everything set up, plumbing all done nice and neat. Landlord comes in and sees it and says I can't run it for fear of flooding on the hard wood floors. Needless to say I am moving into a house soon and will have the display feeding from my sump and fuge that will be sitting in my garage. But that will not be until August....so sucks for me.

I know what you mean. I went in there a few months ago and they had a huge puffer in one of there 10 gallon displays, I didn't like that very much. You would think we would have at least one decent store here. I wonder who maintains the tanks at all the local dentist offices that I have seen?

No tank still hasn't been shipped. Its almost done just awaiting light wiring and closed loop plumbing. They did send me some pics!
Heres a few weeks old shot of my fishroom that I'm working on. Lots of electrical wire hiding stuff. Im still on those 12 hour days so I can't really use powertools to finish my acrylic tanks yet. really looking forward to this weekend ;D

thanks guys! its been a long time in the works. I think it was about two months ago Ron came by and I thought it would be done in another few weeks
