Alright so i figure its time to do some update pics.

After getting the cyano somewhat under control. Anyone have any tips other that reducing the light, siphoning, and flow.

Well i am bringing this back up, because i am building a sump room in my garage. I have a dedicated 20s circut ran to the location and started building today. I had help from a local reefer, who walked me through it and helped me build all day.

Working with the space in my 2car garage i knew the room would be smaller, but it is big enough for a large sump and other equipment to fit.

Here is the walls up, you can see the outlet near the top.

Putting green board up, and my friend thought it was a good photo opp.

Insulating the walls.

6 mil vapor barrier.

Green board all done and ready for compound.

I have started taping and compounding but no pictures yet. I will be putting a bathroom fan up top to remove moisture in the room.

My other DIY is a Wave pump that i am still fine tuning but no pics till it is ready.

So what are your plans for the sump room? Are you planning to plumb a frag tank to it?

So far the sump room will be for my sump,refugium, and all the reactors. I could put a small frag tank, but no plans to yet.
