The estimated price is back on the first page. Looks like we are currently at correct quantities to order 50lb bags currently. If enough other people want to join and get to another even 50lbs I could add another bag but for now the list above will have to be the order list.

rjill, You are certainly welcome to order a 50lb bag of each if you want to- seems like a lot for a nano and a 90, but that's just me. The link shown on the first page of this thread will take you to a article that has several links of suppliers that carry it if you are inclined to order it yourself- the company I got it from does not offer any quantity discounts so it would be the same price for 1 bag as it is for 3.

What it takes to raise CA 10ppm in Scott's 550g is a lot more than what I will have to use in my 170g.

OK- everything is ordered and I got the totals with shipping this morning. The price for the Magnesium Chloride ended up to be $1.20 per lb and the Calcium Chloride is $1.05 per lb. I put everyones totals by there order.

I did have a thought- what exactly should I put everyones order in? I'm not sure a plastic bag would be a good choice as it is fairly heavy and a salt bucket would probably way too big (and I don't have that many). I was thinking maybe looking at Home Depot or something like that for a 1-2 gallon plastic bucket but that would cost a bit more (probably about $2-$4). Any ideas or suggestions? Maybe just have everyone bring there own containers and measure it out when they pick it up? Let me know what you think.

I'm not too worried about holding this for a while if you can't pick it up when it comes in and may even be able to hold on to it till the next meeting if people want me to- doesn't make sense for people to drive across town to pick up $10 or $20 worth of stuff and burn $10 worth of gas to do it.

I think we should bring containers. That's a lot of work for you to dish it all out. Do you have the ability to weigh it or know how much it weigh's per cup, etc?

That's what I was thinking- everyone bring there own container and we will weigh it out at that time. I'd say the container would need to be between 1.5 and 2 gallons in size for 10 lbs.

As for payment- cash on pickup is fine by me unless you want to pay with paypal- just include the 3% fee they charge me.
