anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

FWIW, I was messing with one of my WP40s on a scope yesterday. During that time, we were also playing with the light sensor. This one didn't work so well. It didn't appear to be the light sensor itself, rather the connections on the jumper to the PCB. If I held the sensor, or a resistor, to the pins on the PCB, the sensor worked properly. I'm not concerned because mine will be controlled via RA, but figured I'd share that detail.

Is there a fix for that?

How long does it typically take for everyone in customs in San Fran? I've tried searching the thread to see and it seems like it varies for different people. Mine has said its been in ISC San Francisco since April 6th :( placed the order on March 27.

Just another bump. Anyone else experiencing any problems with their wp40. Please speak up if so. We are all interested to hear good and bad.

Mine is pretty loud. Can't seem to get it to quiet down. It definitely not as loud as my old mp40. But still kinda annoying. Tried all the stuff mentioned here. Next ill try and place a piece of silicone in between the pump and cradle and see if that helps.

For my light sensor I put the controller next to my tank on the side.when angled right it works fine so far. I do have lunar lights, if in complete darkness the pump runs atone all rate. I think they do this for people who keep the controller in a dark place ( understand or something) that the pump will still run. Since most people have Luna's it should work properly.

I have heard of people reporting broken ones thought, hopefully mine keeps working like this its nice to have it give the corals and fish a break from the flow

Mine is not loud at all, if I put my ear close to it I can hear it, my return pump vibrates a lot thought so it may be covering up the noise. I can hear my return outside my house lol I need to get like styrofoam to put under it I think

Have you taken the pump out of the cradle to see if you can still hear it? It may not be vibration. Just a note you can hear this pump ramp up and down. It will quiet up a bit after a week or so.

If it is coming from USPS I would contact the shipper to send another one. It is lost.

Why are people trying their best to torpedo this pump. There are over 100 pages and don't you think if someone on here would have had a major issue it would have been posted. The issues that people have had are well documented. Either buck up and spend the $100 or drop the $450 for the other one. I'm just tired of reading the passive/agressive bull people are posting. I read the 100 pages so do the reading yourself. If you are not the early adopter type then just wait the year and make your decision then.

I now step down off my box. :deadhorse1:
