anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Yeah I saw that post long ago but hoped the RA plug would be an easy solution.

So the RA plug won't work with the pump and Apex? It requires the PWM instead?

So how can my Tunzes connect directly to the Apex? They don't contain a PWM.

I'm not familiar with the Apex. Is their dimming module analog? 0-10v? The RA cable should work if that is the case. I believe Roberto put a low pass filter on the cable so that it can take either a PWM or Analog signal. He also put a voltage divider in there so that you can feed the cable up to 10v (like the RA dimming modules do) and effectively send half that (0-5v) to the pump. Again, I am not familiar with the Apex and I don't know how you would code it/program it to do the wave functions.

If it can control your Tunzes via the dimming module I would suspect it can control a WP-40 with this cable.

Those that are worried about the price just check out the WP40 thread over on the RA forums. Everything is laid out there for you to make your own provided you understand Electronicese. If you have questions just ask. He will help you out.

For me, I bought the harness (and a few other add-ons) last night. $25 is a bargain in my book. I'd spend more than that on gas and/or freight gathering up all the parts/pieces to make one. Not to mention the hour or three it would actually take me to put it together.

If its constant voltage, it will be provided a 24v output up to 8A worth (plenty), and adjusted via the 0-10v port. This is if it even works in this setup, but it looks like it can. It won't fit in the original controller box though (but the other doesnt really fit either). Would be the cheapest way to go if it does.

It's a little too late for me, but I ordered two to try.

Did you receive these? Tried them yet? I'm looking to order a couple & test them out too.

Now if this PWM module provides 0-24V output, I'm wondering the use of the control box & thinking of replicating it's usage & replacing it & control completely through Apex.

Correct, there are 2 RJ45 ports, 2 channels each, 0-10 analog signal. So what you see you think it would work (the cable from RA) with the apex?

Never mind found it...I actually have one laying around...
So now with the RA cable and this apc moduale I should be able to controll the pump?

Since you have the APC, order the cable from RA and let us know if it works with WP40!:bounce1:

Already did..
How you running yours?

I am just using my RKE as a timer to turn off the pumps at night. I also use my it to turn on and off each pump during the day after so many seconds to give the animals some resting periods. Ex Pump A on 60 sec and off 15 sec. Pump B on 45 sec and off 10 sec.

The APC module will allow you to have night, calm, pulse, sequential, master/slave, and storm modes.

Cool ,will let you know how this pump works with the apc and RA cable as soon as they arrive..

Starting to look into this pump and like the option of being able to controll it, but currently dont have a tank controller.... Looks like the RA is the preferred unit for this pump and also has good tech support......

So which RA model should I get to controll these pumps and everything else on my tank?

Tank is a 120G with led actinic's with a 0-10v pot dimmer, 2-250w MH's , Calcium reactor with ph probe, the tank also has a ph probe, protein skimmer. What do you think it will cost for the system I need plus the pump cables?
