anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

If i were to do it again, it would be all vortech every time. I have owned tunze as well. No jebo for me because a halide light of mine caught fire while i was home. Yes any equiptment can fail but iv'e owned my vortechs for almost 5 yrs and the only thing i have had to replace was one driver.

Like I said in my last post, you are free to spend your money any way you want. I'll save my $350 on each pump and smile. :lolspin:

i have a Mp60W in my 4x2x2 ft tank but i understand i can help the same wave . i am trying to share that i did not have to tune at all , plug and play no adjusting needed for me and no noise at all :D:D

Chercm, are you saying the waves generated by the WP40 are comparable to the MP60W? That's awesome. Would that be too much for your tank? Can the strength of the waves be dialed back with the control if necessary?

the problem is that it is at the lowest settings the wave are high . But i just love it , looks like the ocean wave in my living room

What you are saying is you can make the waves higher if you turn up the control knob, right?

Unless that unsightly power cord dissapears i am certainly not upset at owning my 4 vortechs. Also wouldnt use jebo ( oddesey ) again. JMO

That's odd, my MP10 has a power cord, I didn't know they made any wireless powered pumps? TBH I don't find having the power cord on the outside of the tank to be a whole lot better, other than not routing more crap through my lid. Certainly the external motor brings with it the danger of falling and breaking.

The WP25 sounds like just the thing for my frag tank in a month or so.

I think he means a cord inside the tank.

hmmm! interesting. I was about to order 2 mp40's for my new hundo. As Lee Corso would say "not so fast my friend." Lol.

I'm serious as a health issue about ordering 2 of these. That wave is absolutely amazing for a sub 100$ pump. I can't see a single mp anything lasting longer then 6 of these! Period. It's bad enough to be as addicted to this expensive hobby (bad on my pockets) as I am with 4 kids to feed. VORTECH "WILL NOT!" BE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK OFF ME THIS YEAR. I think I'm taking my kids to the circus circus adventure dome theme park with the savings. No jokes

Is their a release date for the wp25

Most people in China are off until Monday the 18th for Chinese New Year. I was told Jebo plans to announce it some time after they get back, no fixed date but Fish Street has a prototype, so it can't be too far off. I'm just waiting to see my WP40 and do some testing... one week since ordering and about one more to go. :bounce1:

Ron, go or no go we are counting on you and Barry:bounce3:

Tagging along, I love this hobby but spending $800 on LEDs in a couple months can not afford Vortechs too.

Right now I am pretty much looking at the Apollo 5000UV Blastorama LEDs of uberness or whatever they call them.

It's a 4X2X2 120 gallon, so figure two of them would work.
