anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Lol. Sorry im anxious to here more about these pumps and testimonials and all im getting are mustang emails. :0)

I couldnt read through all 94 pages. Did anyone have a bad review at all?

I got mine today, so far i like it. No issues of pump cords or anything. I have it in else mode on a 90 gallon. Only thing i can complain about is the water splash into my coast to coast overflow!

I've read all the post and have been following it since I stumbled across it.
As far as I can remember there has not been a bad review of the pump itself.
Every negativity or complaint was about the night sensor or the customer support.
Some people had problems with the US power cords not working (myself included) Fish-Street.com told them to use a PC power cord and refunded $5.

There were several complaints about noise, but it either goes away after a little while or if you move the pump direction slightly it solves it (Apparently it can't be straight on in some units).

A few people complained about the pump not sitting in the cradle fully, but that was very few.

I hope this helps.

It's a good pump and I have no complaints once I got the night sensor working other than customer support.

I have the same issue (not on a C2C, but a regular overflow) I was thinking about putting a filter sponge in there to catch it and let it trickle out.
Haven't tried it yet.

How did you get the night sensor working?

Im trying to mount them on back glas rotated sideways so there for will not be straight hopefully that will quiet them down. How bout else mode noisE?

There needs to be some light in the room.
I placed my moonlight LED right next to the sensor, someone else placed the controller right next to the orange switch from a power strip.

From what I have read that placing them on the back glass rotated out should work or they might just quiet down on their own a bit.

Back glass as in on center facing one of the corners or corner back glass facing the center?

This is how i was planning on using.

Perfect! I was actually worried about it in the manner i expect to use it. I worried that is the cradle is cheaply made and the flow truly is 0%-100% of 3000+ gph then eventually the pump would rocket out of the cradle after a few thousand 3000+gph ramps. And then you would have a torpedo in your tank spray water everywhere. LMAO.

So i was worried that the only safe way to use was straight away as cradle would be best supported.

No. Mine is fully in the cradle on a pretty sharp angle and it's been fine.
What size is your tank again? Specifically width front to back.
I have a 55 gallon that is only 12" wide and I think that is to narrow for this pump.
I have it on the left side glass angles to the front and bottom a little bit.
I haven't tried the back to a front corner though.

60"x18"x26"H

going for one on each corner facing towards front glass, center and down on bottom glass for a barebottom tank depending on these pumps to suspend everything so that skimmer can capture.

Both on else mode.

Before I got my voltage regulator I was running min on else from the left side slightly back and bottom of center.

I moved a lot of debris and created some sand dunes, but mine is only 48" x 12" by 21"H.
I saw it kicking up sand on the right front sand bed.

Hmmm good question. May kill the wave though.

I had a similar question. Since the 2 dont wirelessly sync, how can i get them to ramp up or down at opposite times. I know it wont be perfect but if i turn one on now and the other 5 minutes later?

What i dont want are the 2 of them on the same velocity at the same time.

Buy an apex or reef angel. Not going to get them perfect any other way

Had the same issue with is splashing into my overflow and it was not acceptable. I played with it until I found a setting and speed that didn't splash.

I dont want it to be perfect. Just dont want them to be exact at all times. Wait 5 min then turn 2nd wp40 on? Wait 30min?

Never gonna happen without a controller. Anytime you use feed mode, power goes out, etc you are out of luck. Plus you will never time plugging them right to actually mimic a sync.

Maybe im not explaining myself right... I DONT want them to be synced or perfect.

Guess u answered my question. No matter what i do they wont be synced which is exactly what i want.
