anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

I have unplug the powerhead for 3hr and the controller stayed in the same setting I left it in before I unplug it. So can say yes the controller remember settings

For those who uses variable power supply, you may lose the last setting if you are using too low a voltage before shutting down the pump or after a power loss.

FS said they have seen last setting lost if voltage drops below 16V.

If it's stored in RAM there shouldn't need to be power to remember the setting. A battery is only needed to keep track of time during a power loss.

Thanks rrasco, So with an Apex already sending out 1-10v analog I'm almost there, just cut the signal in half with some voltage dividing resistors and I should be good to go. No filters etc. needed?
Thx

can you do a youtube video please:rollface::rollface::rollface:

Thanks! Just got this email from fish-street

"Hi Barry,

The replacement kits is change for the impeller rubber for 2 unit, ~ Just pay for USD3 shipping fee"

I got the same response. Given the response and price, it looks like it's the rubber stopper on the impeller rather than a whole new plastic housing/casing.

Just ordered one after my original cheapo power head I bought 2 yrs ago for $25 went bad on my. Sent stray voltage in my tank and shocked me this morning with a reading of 91v. Hopefully this one last as long as my $25 cheapo.

I was going to buy a used mp40 but not for 350!
I'm going to try one of these if its not to much flow for my 75 gal

It's very likely going to be too much in a 75g tanks unless it's got a lot of wide open space. But in this thread there are several ways to dial down the flow rate. I used the $12 variable output power converter idea. I've run mine at 18V rather than 24V for over 2 months now and it hasn't missed a beat.

You might wait a few weeks and see the new WP20 or 25 that is coming out. The price may be close to the WP40 price, but it may also have a built in speed control (a lot of rumors bouncing around). I put a WP40 in my rather full 180g DT and it's more than I want. I'm waiting on the new one and will probably get 4 or 5 of them. Two for my 180g (and pull the WP40), 1 for my 70g hexagon anemone tank and 1 (maybe 2) for my 55g QT/local tank.
