anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

She has no interest in the hobby and doesn't go on the forums.
Plus she has her own laptop so there is not even a chance of seeing it in the history or anywhere.

She knows nothing about what I do regarding the tank or nor does she care.
Everything gets shipped to my office so I just bring it home and take it into my "Man Cave" and it stays there until I get to setting it up.

I got a Flame Angle dropped off from Brett and NiceWrasse in Vero Beach. He was on his way to a wholesaler in Miami and stopped by.

Acclimated and put the guy in the tank and she still hasn't noticed it ans said when did you get that.

I definitely understand.... :( it's sad that we can't share this stuff with them... anyways, this is for another thread

It's ether $20 or a friend gave it to me because they were tearing down their tank or I had it in the attic from my old 125 tank.

I accidentally had something shipped to the house and it arrived yesterday and she got the mail so she saw it.

She asked my what I bought and I said I haven't bought anything in a long while.
When I got home I opened the box in front of her and said...

"Oh this was something I ordered like 8 months ago and it was back ordered so I cancelled the order.
I guess customer service never told the shipping department it was cancelled so they sent it out.
So I never paid for this."

My wife loves the tank so she never questions my purchases. she does some times get aggravated with the "insane" amount of time I spend "messing" with the tank. :-)

I'll just throw in that Elaine is my 3rd wife... and I'm her 3rd husband. We've been together for about 12 years now, married 8 of those years on July 4th. She cleans aquarium glass 3 times as much as I do, she scrapes coraline twice as much as I do, she let me have most of the guest bathroom as a aquarium chemicals and test equipment storage room and she gave me the small 3rd bedroom as a reef support man cave for my 55g QT and 25g frag tank. The 180g DT and 70g anemone tank are in the dinning room. Oh, by the way, she cuts the grass 100% of the time, is a very good cook and she loves snorkeling as much or more than me! And in 12 years of dating, living together and being married, we've never had a serious argument and never any kind of fight. She's the best and I let her know it regularly! :love1:

No. I love my wife even thought she can drive me crazy at times.
She is otherwise great and gave me the best thing every. my son Seth.

So yeah....my WP40s on the RA are doing great. Still have to run them about 25% to keep my LPS happy. I have a brain on the sand in the middle of the tank that gets indented with them any higher than that. This is in a reefcrest-like mode. I may try some different modes, but everything is happy with 'random' flow.

Here is an updated FTS video with the WP40s.

Here is my current wiring to the RA to show how they are powered and dimmed. The small white wires are connected to the VA lines of the pumps.

Those are the cables from Reef Angle correct?

I want to know if anyone has made cables like these beside Roberto.
Like I said earlier I just ordered 2 WP25's and I only have 1 cable from Reef Angel right now.
Would like to try and save the $25.

Yes.

I was going to make them, but I couldn't find the 3 pin connector for the pump. I spent $25 ordering connectors that didn't fit. These are simple: DC barrel jack, two resistors, and a capacitor. These barrel jacks are mounted on a small PCB. Once I move the sump into this room, I am going to clean them up a little more and mount them into something so the contacts are not exposed.

I was going to one of the cables that came with my WP25 and cut it off the controller.
What would I need to do it?

Add the LPF, voltage divider and a barrel jack. If the WP25 comes with the variable speed you won't need a ReefAngel, assuming the connectors are the same size. Unless you want to sync/anti-sync them or custom wave patterns, then a RA becomes handy.
