I'm not exactly sure why this thread was closed... I'm disappointed that I won't be able to follow the maturation of the Clowns as I have a pair myself and hope that someday they will breed.

All joking aside, Sean never posted "Clowns for sale" Other posting on the thread were asking for the babies. Others, not Sean, made a joke about what they should be called. To bad other reefer had to come in and try to down play such an accomplishment of helping some many fryies life so long. I think laskopyre was right about the other reefers who stuck their noses into someone else post and didn't like the response.
I am also very disapointed is the mods call to close that thread.

I do apoligize for that it was my fault for acting the way I did ...sad as it is the only ones that truely pay are my fellow clubmembers and for that I am sorry .... I beg everyone to please refrain from posting on this subject as it only makes it worse...

The one guy was a breeder as well. Guess he took offense to someone else raising clowns and not wanting his advice.

The sale accusation was hilarious IMO, because It happens in every "my clownfish laid eggs thread" people start lining up for babies before they even hatch... Certainly not Sean's fault, since he never even offered anything for sale, and didn't respond to a single person who said "I'll take a pair."

The "disagreement and distress" was caused by the out of state guys thread crapping. The thread was nothing but Sean charting the progress of the fry UNTIL kerusso316 stepped in with his "Too bad they are not ONYX." comment. Which only someone peddling fish would feel the need to try to protect the market for their fish. You can't blame Sean for getting mad, when he's simply trying to share his first clownfish raising experience with fellow club members, and non-club members keep derailing the thread.

kerusso316 & bues0022 are the people responsible for derailing the thread... not anyone in the Cleveland club.
