I am going to try out the ACLS units. They are spendy, I hope they are worth it.
Take care...

I've seen a bunch of people using them. I seem to be missing any benefit that justifies their price. Why use them?
Jamie- The external overflows have been great. They really open up things and allow for some nice flow in all parts of the tank, especially in the back. The lights have been great. I have a few frags and they are beginning to encrust and grow. My chiller broke down a week ago so I am not going to be adding anything until they ship me a new one.Originally posted by jwccwj
Any updates reefbum? How are the external overflows and the Sfiligoli lighting panning out?Any regrets so far?
Jamie.
Kaidenjohn- Thanks for the kind words. You won't be disappointed with your AO tanks. They do an incredible job and they are very customer friendly. I am really happy with the acrylic covering the back glass with grooves in front of the overflows. They had not done that before and it turned out exactly as I had hoped...they work great. Good luck with the tanks.Originally posted by Kaidenjohn
Reefbum,
Nice Tank!
I just ordered two systems from Aquarium Obsessed a few weeks ago.
The one in my home is 60 Long - 35 Deep - 30 - High. Also I am getting the same lights only with 2 x 400 Watt MH. I know, don't hate me but I did spring for the ACLS units. We will see!
I have also been contracted to build an in wall system at a local casino here in California. It as well is being built by AO and it's 108 Long - 48 Deep - 36 High. As well it will have the same brand of lighting but without the ACLS. 6 x 400 Watt MH.
All the lights will have the T5's as well.
As I do not want to get into my project or high jack yours in anyway. I just wanted to say thanks. Now that I have seen your system I know I did not go wrong with this purchase.
I also am going to try to get them to do my overflow the same way, it looks pro for sure.
Take care...
It is worth the wait.Originally posted by Kaidenjohn
I hope you don't mind but I told Andrew, I wanted my tank to look exactly like yours only with my measurements.
Very nice! Looking at yours makes the wait that much harder.
Thanks Phu. I do have some Bi-Macs and I believe 1 is going to turn into a male. I actually have a great mated pair of True PercsOriginally posted by eaglesrx
Wow, if that's a true PM, great find!! It's such a large frag for a PM.
In your last picture, it looks like you have another type of anthia other than a lyretail. Or maybe you just have some females turning male.
Nice perc!
Phu
Typhon- You might be right about the PM being a A.Lokani...it is a really cool piece.Originally posted by Typhon
ReefBum.. I have been falling your progress and your tank is Impressive!!!
P.S. I don't think the coral in your first pic is a PM. Looks more like a A.Lokani. But Lokani are very rare and especially a colony at that size. Great find!!
