I was lucky enough to be able to check out Greg's big dry tank last night and as expected it's one of the nicest dry tank set ups I've seen! The big surprise however was Greg's new cube tank in the dining room (dry of course)! Another truly inspiring dry tank. I have to admit I've got dry tank envy big time right now. I floated the possibility of setting up a dry tank of my own by my wife last night; I didn't get the green light but I didn't get a red light either. The nice thing about these new dry systems is you can put them just about anywhere, on carpet, hardwood, you name it. I'm entertaining putting a few cacti in mine although I like Cody's zoa poster a lot.

Best of all. Almost zero impact on electricity bill.

Lol!

Nothing to add really. Just my painful thumb. Whole saw... should have been more careful long story short. Ill live just sore.

I have your dry cube if you want to check it out and see if you like it

I like the signature. lol.. I really hope you don't have any leaks at the joints you glued. If you do, what would you do to stop the leak?

I used a miter saw to cut all the pipe. Sanded any burrs and chamfered the edges a little. I can remove the manifold if something is leaking. I made another union with a pipe and cap so I can still run the tank if it does.

Leak tested. Moved the tank back and leveled it. Good to go I think. Thanks for the help Mike.

Time to make some water.
