i bought them from tropical aquarium in brunswick, they were special ordered in for me, the male didnt look that good when i bought him, that is alot of hard earned time, money, and patience with alot of food and vitamins, i dont care what anyone else tells me in order to get the best health, color, and energy out of a fish you have to feed an extremely varied diet, so far in my freezer i have my own custom reef mixture (DT's oyster eggs, cyclopeeze frozen, halibut filet, squid rings, crab claws, shrimp, mysis, bloodworms, brine, krill, silversides, and algae sheets), brine, mysis, bloodworms, silversides, krill, cyclopeeze, marine cuisine, emerald entree, and my secret for feeding finiky fish and coral...prawn roe, to add to that collection i have a container of 1mm spectrum pellets, 3mm spectrum pellets, all three kinds of julian springs algae sheets, spectrum flakes, cyclopeeze flakes, and no matter what i feed the fish i always soak everything in at least one cap of garlic and 1ml or selcon
depending on what im feeling the fish need that day is what i feed along with a pinch of small spectrum pellets
so for anyone that wants to keep the most vibrant colors of their fish i do recommend an extremely varied diet well soaked in vitamins, i am also going to try and add one more thing to the mix, im going to try the Mazuri aquatic gel diet with krill meal, it is loaded with vitamins and minerals along with a color enhancer so once i get it i will post a thread about it and let everyone know how i like it along with the addition of what i feed normally
