Big Sohal Tang

Such a beautiful fish. I hope to have one of these fish one day, despite their aggressiveness.. Sohal's are my favorite tang with juv. black tangs right there behind them. I hope he plays well in your DT!

Congrat on your new fish. I have one in a 500 G and it slowly killed off most of my fish including a vlamingi, unicorn, YT, hippo, Tomato clown, and countless other fish.

+1 on LA. Dealt with them in the past and their CS is 2nd to none.

I rescued him out of a 100g tank with 3 other good sized tangs =/ two of them have HLLE, three have some lympho. Got a thread going about it on the disease forum. The Sohal is the only one that looks just fine, but I'm going to run him through my treatment regimen and observe until I figure out what to do with them.

Enjoy him while he is small. I had one before that grew into a behemoth monster 13+ inches. I had to get rid of him because he was super aggressive. When small they are more docile, but once they reach 10+ inches they become monsters. Chasing everything, including killing and chasing 2 cleaner shrimps. I loved the Sohal, however he kept breaking all my acros when he went after my other fish.

Very beautiful fish indeed, Let me know how he does 4-5 years from now. I know mine turned into a beast.
