Bleaching spots?

I have an 8" Maxima that has little bleached out spots peppered over it's flesh. It is 29" below 2 400se Coralvue 14k(9hrs photo) and 192w of pc dual actinic(12hrs photo). Daily I feed Cyclop-eeze and DTs, everyother day I feed mysis, spirulina and a fresh food/vitamin flake blend. Any ideas about the spots? I'll post a photo when the lights come back on, sorry.

raise the clam up in the tank,IMO that is to deep for the 14k.at the size the clam is now 8"it is getting all of its food from light,it not feeding off of anything that you are adding

How close to the lights do you think? The tank is 21" deep, the lights are 8" from the surface. Thanks for the info, btw

just move it up slowly, like 2" at a time, give it a week or so in-between moves and keep a close eye on it and when it looks better then you could stop.
