No stars or hermits just snails infact only turbos 9 total. Nice thing about them is they are more active at night and hide when the lights are on.

I've always admired your tank. Kudos on a job nicely done! Though the aquascaping is stunning, I especially love how you picked fish that interact with your specific aquascaping style - fish that hang out around and under the protrusions of the reef. You didn't just throw fish in there based on color and popularity, something too many people do. The scale of the fish to the aquascaping makes it much more realistic.

eskymick, I am using the Lumenarc III Large pendant. I retro fitted it with 2 SE mogul sockets 1 250w XM and 1 400w Radium however 1 bulb is plenty enough.
skatezen, I appreciate that! Not too many people take notice to that type of detail. I try to choose my fish to match the theme of my tank, i know the Tang however is pushing the limits but i cant help it i love that fish :lol: at 5 inches it will be the only big fish in there.

Sorry to bother you with this since you've probably answered this already.
If so, I don't remember reading it. . Did you do anything special for drilling holes in your rocks? I'm going to drill 1/2" holes in mine with a masonry bit. I plan to drill 1/4" pilot holes with a smaller bit first. I've got a basic corded drill for this. I'm most concerned with breaking the rocks. Can you give me any tips or tricks before I get started?

make sure rock is nice and wet, never use hammer action on your drill. Always drill hole slightly larger than your structure holding rods.....

I don't know if they make it anymore but it is the 19.5 x 19.5 version not the mini.
