I ave had a pair of maroon clowns for 8 years or so. Whenever they are getting ready to lay a clutch of eggs, the female gets white dots all over the opperculum and from the nose to right before the second stripe up back. I had thought nothing of it over the years, but the last couple of spawns it is really dramatic. I was always under the impression that it was the males that had a few turbucles when in breeding condition. Is this common?
