really if your system is setup right, 2 or more skimmers is not needed at all. one skimmer and don't have to be over rated will do the job.

Hi All,

Bought a BK Internal 300 a couple months ago second hand, although I have not used it yet, compared to other skimmers ive owned previously they are built like a battleship. I hope they are as good as they sound, if the BK 300 proves to be as good as expected then I will purchase another new, after selling all my worldly posessions ( the ones the banks do not own yet).

My three current skimmers laying idle as I complete my fish room. BK int 300, Reef Octopus FDNW400 and an Aquamedic Turboflotor 5000 Twin.

somewhere along the way i mentioned that my foam head collapsed super easily when feeding/working in the tank and took forever to recover.... day by day i am seeing this recovery time shortening...

german reef - wow, you have one of the 1st ones! I like the black lid. It looks like you have the pump's intake turned open a bit. How many revolutions did you turn in before the dots lined up?
