Can someone please tell me what type of tang I have??

My LFS told me he is a Tomini Bristletooth, but they typically have orange on their fins and a forked tail. My little guy is mostly grey with a square tail and thin light blue line along the edge of his tail. Does anyone have any idea what he might be? Thanks in advance :)

Could be a vlamingii tang or tennenti. I'm shooting in the dark here though. Pictures would help.

Ctenochaetus Striatus or maybe an adult Chevron? Or possibly a mimic tang?

Definitely not a tomini.

Not a tennenti/lieutenant, it would have shoulder stripes, and not white on tail end, maybe a transitioning mimic, but agree it's showing stress in coloration which makes hard to be sure.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! He's a bit timid when people get close to the tank but I don't think he's stressed, his color looks the same as it did at my LFS and he's eating like a pig and becoming more social in his new home. They claim to have had him for 7 weeks or so. But I've been doing a lot of googling lately and I do think he might be a type of mimic tang. Also he's very pretty! I wanted something different rather than the standard blue, or yellow tang everyone seems to go for☺️
