wow!!!!! i am surprised thats how DAS shipped that tank. I would have thought that there would be more crating around it.

Dang, Drew. That is terrible crating. Was that box inside the aquarium when it was shipped? I hate for you to have another set back.

given that it didnt have to travel too far I can only imagine what could happen if the tank had travel across the country.

The tank its self was protected. the top was open and something fell into it that caught the braces and broke the tank.
Im just glad the replacement will be here in 2 weeks

Stay tuned as i upload the fish room build pics

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Unconditional Love for All

The replacement tank should be here in a week or two. delays in the silicone curing time due to the cold.
Floor & Sink Drain has been plumed.
Walls up on the fish room.
The wall on the left will be removed. The grey conduit carries my main electrical feed to the house. I will reroute that next week.

how hard was it to put up the ftp board? I am going to do the same thing on the wall behind my tank from floor to ceiling.

The FRP is not much fun to work with as it is very flimsy on it's own.
you have to use glue and nails to hold it up and you need to brace the ceiling piece until the liquid nails sets up. best to have 3 people for the ceiling and 2 for the walls

Any updates on tank? I will still help if needed and schedule allows. I like the FRP. Only went halfway up walls in my fish room, but works really well.

Status Update!
Okedokee....
The tank is here.. I drove up to Dallas to get it.
