cFloor's 190g

The tank is now three months old and I'm generally happy with it's progress. I've always felt that my favorite part of this hobby is sharing it with others who are also involved, but also with those who are not. My friends 4 year old, seen below, was absolutely fascinated by the tank. He sat and stared and pointed out his favorite fish for a good amount of time. It was fun to watch and for once, his parents had a little break as he has very high energy.

Your tank looks great and so do your child

I'm very excited to add what should be my last fish to this tank. I have what I would consider a high fish load, and as far as wrasses go i now have a lineatus, rhomboid, eight line flasher, and a pair of solomon island filamented flashers (which are very cool!)

Hopefully I will get a video up soon, as things are starting to look better.

Beautiful fish!!! :inlove::inlove::inlove:

What does it eat?

Wrasses are cool fish. They add lots of movement. Look forward to the video. :) Your new fish looks stunning. Under the tank lights the yellow and blue/purple should look amazing.

Thank you sahin, Wrasses and Angels have always been my favorites. I unfortunately lost my last Lineatus in my previous tank when I removed the cover and was doing a water change. She jumped without me even seeing it happen. The colors on this guy really do pop under my t5s. Very pleased with him.

I really appreciate it, thank you. It's my friend's son, but I can tell he's a future reefer.

Thanks Cfloor, I loved your attractive fish so much I bought my own.
Wow! What a beauty! Excellent addition Reeftub. Regals are the best. Best of luck with him
Now that is a nice tank!!
Much appreciated, thanks for stopping in :)

thanks, I feed my fish PE mysis, spirulina brine, Reef Frenzy, clams, mussels, oysters, and live black worms. I also feed nori to my tangs and angels.

Quick cell phone video. Doesn't show the true colors and looks much bluer than it really is. One day I'll learn how to use my real camera.

Thanks he has not pecked at anything so I'm great full

Tank is looking fantastic. Wrasses are one of my all time favorites. Great personalities and very effective at helping to control certain pests ime. Sometimes I regret adding my 6-line, but then again, I have yet to have any pest disasters and I should have had something by now. Especially in the beginning before I knew the facts. I was dipping fresh mariculture acros in melafix marine and adding to the display immediately. Makes me sick to think about doing that sort of thing now lol!

Wow!! Beautiful scape, healthy corals, nice fish. Great progression. I just read the first 5 pages instead of working..
Really nice set up!
And don't worry about spelling biggles, boggles... Sometimes he gets giggles but he really doesn't mind.. Biggles is all too often boggled, anyways... :)
So, did I read about your lighting properly? 10 bulb fixture with 2 extra bulbs on each side??
That's serious lighting!
I don't think you really went into details about tank maintenance like water changes, nutrient levels, additives, if any.. Let's hear the nitty gritty.

Thanks he has not pecked at anything so I'm great full

Video is fine love to see others tanks in action. Nice size colonies bud.
thanks buddy, I'm glad your regal is behaving for you. And I agree, I love seeing videos of everyone's tanks. I'm going to try and do more with my better camera in the future.
Awesome video!
Thank you, much appreciated
Looks great bud, i like the redsea regal hows it doing for you.
Thanks so much, the regal is doing great. I've had this guy for a while now and he's always been an aggressive eater, not aggressive with other fish, and leaves my corals alone. Definitely my favorite fish. A little story about this guy"¦ when I first got him I did a fresh water dip before he went into my QT. A couple flukes fell off in the dip and he ate them as they fell off, I was shocked!
I love this tank so full of awesome
Thanks! Your tank is coming along really good too, I've enjoyed following it.
