Very Nice!
Thanks swk, yeah I see we are close by. I work in St. Halena and Calistoga from time to time. Thanks for checking in.Awesome stuff. Glad to see you're relatively local to myself. Looking forward to seeing the tank mature and sub'd for sure!
Much appreciatedVery Nice!
super nice facial marking on that new regal, absolutely stunning!!!
I'm really happy, I haven't seen any aggression between the two at all. My only concern is the new guy is a slow methodical eater and I fear he doesn't get enough food. He is definitely eating anything I put in the tank, just much slower than my other fish.awesome, how are they getting along?
Thanks, The regal angelfish is an all time favorite of mine. I can't imagine my tank without one. Like any angel, there is a risk with nipping. I've owned 4 in my life and never once seen one nip my coral"¦ but you never know :rollface:Beautiful Regals. :inlove::inlove::inlove:
They don't nip at SPS, right?
Thank you biggles. On a side note, my autocorrect always turns your name into boggles, lolStunning fish mate, i'm very jealous
Thanks so muchBeautiful tank!
Thanks glaukos, I will certainly get a vid up soon. I'm just waiting for the corals to come around a little bit.+1 on the jealousy comment
Awesome regal:inlove:
Happy there is no aggresion!
I'd really love a vid of them hanging out,it must be nice watching it live:beer:
The stand and hood came from a local guy who has been doing it for 25 years. As far as the tank, I'm very happy with it and I think you should go for it!Good luck with the second regal.
Did you build a stand and hood or use a DSA's? If you used DSA how do you like them?
My wife does not know it yet, but I got the itch for a bigger tank and the DSA 175 has some nice dimensions.
Thanks Scotty! Just gotta find some of your secret SPS steroids and I'll be good to go!Loving that new regal buddy! Love your Setosa too, that is. An awesome piece!!!
I appreciate you checking in, I really do love watching them swim around together, and I'm hoping they, as well as my other angels leave my across alone. Although, I really don't mind a little nipping.WOW beautiful tank Cfloor, the aquascaping is awesome. I can't wait to see how good this tank looks in the future:beer:. Love the two regals, it must be stunning to watch them swimming together, hopefully they play nice with the acros
So far so good. It's weird though. Some of my corals that kept their colors no matter what in my old tank are bouncing back a little slower than I would have liked. While on the other hand, I have a frag that never colored up in my frag tank that has already colored up nicely. who knows??Love the regal pair buddy..glad things are coloring back up..i tried not to impulse buy but its so difficult. .
Thanks sahin!Angel sure looks stunning.

I sure hope so. I tend to feed my tank a lot. I do live black worms, PE Mysis, Spirulina brine, nori, and clams daily. I'm hoping he gets more aggressive, he probably gets 1 bite for the other fishes 4 or 5.It will soon learn to eat quicker, adding nori daily will help it get enough nutrients
Can you please share your experience? Did it start out ok and end bad, or was it bad from the start. thanksYou are a brave man adding another angel. They are such beautiful fish but I played that game a few years back and lost. :rolleye1:
It was fine for about 6 months and then all my angels went rogue and starting eating corals faster than I could grow them. Particularly sps with heavy polyp extension. Here is an example of a seriatopora sp the angels were eating the polyps off of on the lower left - sorry for the crappy pic but you can see the bare branches. Can you please share your experience? Did it start out ok and end bad, or was it bad from the start. thanks
