Check out this tank

thank you. That is a nice compliment. For some reason my business is really snowballing this year as far as custom setups are concerned. I am always looking for fun new projects.

kgallich,
im not sure how you stand on this whole thing because your either making smart comments or asking questions and complimenting.
Wake,
your setups look freakin sweet. i wish i had the money to go all out on my tanks, keep us posted on the progress.

thanks for the compliment smurf. I think you just looked at his comments the wrong way. no need to keep your opinion to yourself. That is what the board is for.

Wakesetter that angled tank has to be one of the sweetest designs I think that I have seen yet. And in a rental house to boot??? Makes me think I need a new landlord :D

Definately going to be watching this thread.

Wakesetter, very cool tanks, nice to know that someone who does this professionally takes pride in their work and uses some quality gear. In one of your previous posts did you mention running a power coard through a bulkhead or am I just going crazy - that sounds like a great way to streamline things.

I didn't think I made any smart comments and if somebody took it that way I am truely sorry. I am/was very interested in the pics that are/were posted here... I think that WAKESETTER is doing a great job. I would like to start that line of work one day myself, that is why I asked about where he got his supplies... I just didn't wanted to come right out and asked that way... So I guess as long as I didn't offend you WAKESETTER I guess nothing else matters. Keep up the cool work and post more pics....

Knyght it is in a vacation rental house. Like something rich folks from the L.A. would rent for a week to get out of the city. I am guesing it will rent for around $3000-5000 a week depending on the season.

Madtownmax--yes I ran all the powercords for the lights and the fans through a 2.5" bulkhead and a section of 2.5" PVC in the overlfow. It is the only to do it in this tank as it is in the middle of a room with vaulted ceilings. No power from above and no cords running up the outside of the tank.

Do you do the maintenance for these aquariums when they're complete? Those tanks are awesome. I'm actually starting the same type of business in Kansas right now. Any advice you could give would be fantastic.

yeah I maintain them as well. best advice I can give is be reliable, don't burn bridges and allow time for the business to grow. Word of mouth is your number one asset.

awesome to see that you are somewhat successful. My buddy and i are thinking of doing the same thing to get through the next few years of college.
