Dan, I think you should be considered the SPS Pimp. LOL
You grew a 1 inch oregon into a 5"x5" (or possibly larger) colony in only a year.

If you want better growth and colors on your Chalices then your going to need to have a little bit dirtier waters. But then your sps aren't going to be so colorful and grow so fast.

Mark and Kenny = :bum: (Coral Pimps)

Dan = :jester: (Coral Clown)

Daniel, I hope not.:( I'm probably going to add an urchin next week or so to see if it will mow it down.

Sweet set up! I love the Lee Mar Starfire tank.
Thanks Ricky, I'm really happy with the tank and glad I paid the little extra for the Starfire.

Actually, I have a pretty good picture in my Photobucket. Forget the chalice and take a look at the frag rock that it is mounted on, is this what you have?

Anyone have any ideas how to eliminate it?

Thanks ADMTyPeReEf-eR. I actually have a mix of about 50 hermits and it they want nothing to do with the algae or maybe they are keeping it as it is.:rolleyes:

Hope everyone had a happy 4th. We got back from ‘Frisco early yesterday evening and had a good time. Thought that I would post some pictures of the Steinhart Aquarium’s 200,000 Philippine Reef exhibit. Enjoy…

A really nice place to visit and I highly recommend it. It was a little crowded though, perhaps because of the holiday.
