Hum, I couldn’t find any pictures taken in January or February must have been slacking off. This picture was taken on March 7, 2009. Got a new DSLR for Christmas so the quality of the picture is better (I think ). At the time, I did not have a macro lens.

The change from December to March is amazing, the coralline growth is crazy!! :eek1:

Sup Ian? Thanks bro. How was the honeymoon? I was passing though Santa Barbara on the way back home stuck in traffic on the 101 and though if I had Ian's ph # maybe he could guide me around the traffic. Spent 2 hrs getting from Golita to Ventura!

Thanks for the tip Mark. The reef was pretty amazing, just wished it wasn't sooo crowded. Didn't even make it into the Planetarium, all the passes had been distributed by the time we finished the Steinhart. I didn't know we needed them.

Doh! That southbound traffic can be a doozy at the wrong time Im sure I could have instructed you to a detour or at least a good restaurant to pass the time

Ian you are right, it is not the RL. It's the Reef Ready Grape Juice.

Thanks William. Yah, that picture makes the old tank look bigger. The same length and height just 12" wider.

Thanks Bryan. Yup, for whatever reason this is one coral that really grows fast for me. Just a few months ago it was two 1" brown sticks.
