Nice pic of the frag in your Avatar Bob. I hear ya man, the first six months or so are truly a test of endurance and patience especially the first time through. No matter how much everyone tries to prep you for it, it's still a dizzying experience. Ah the memories of being up at some ridiculous hour in the morning warming a bottle"¦but like you said I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world :beer:

Hey Ramzy, too early to tell. They've been running (Radiums) less than a week and I'm up to 4.5 hours per day. I'm ramping 30 minutes every 3 days and targeting 6 hours on the MH. The T5s are 3 ATI Blue+ and a Korallen-Zucht Fiji Purple (7 hours). See you at CFM!

Yeah Toan, I think they've been in my frag rack since just after last CFM. Nothing too exciting. Are you going on Sunday?
 
yup - I will be hanging out with the San Gabriel Valley Reefers. Let me know if you want any of my stuff. I can bring them to trade with you, but it looks like you already have most of the acros out there.
 
Woo-hoo…had a great time at CFM even though because of other plans I could only stay for a little over an hour. I spent more time driving than at the event. The coral eye candy did not disappoint and I picked up more pieces than I have room for…what to do? It was nice to say hi and shake hands with a few peeps that I only get to see 2 – 3 times a year. Pook was loaded down with some nice stuff but unfortunately no angler fight club (RIP). Reef Odyssey’s (Ian) and Stryker’s (Terry) stuff was insane as usual. Aquarium Clown (Leo), s2k (Toan) and Jimmy007 (Jimmy) had also had some cool stuff. As well as the usual cast of characters; Reeffarmers, SPS Coral Store (Aaron had some nice quality stuff probably should have picked up more but I ran out of time), Your Reef (John), Garrett’s Acropolios (Steve) and many others that I didn’t get a chance to check out. Next show on the list is Reef-A-Palooza which I’m really looking forward to seeing the new LED fixtures.

I didn't see you at CFM! That sucks! Anyways I agree with you that it was fun to hang out with peeps that we only see 2-3 times per year :lol: Did you get any corals at CFM? Personally I didn't buy anything which is a good thing considering I have no room left in my tank :D

Hey Ramzy, sorry I missed you but like I said I was only there for about an hour right when it opened. Yup, I did pick up a few pieces and I have no where to put them too. I'm at the point where if something goes in something must come out. :o

No problem Kenny, something already went into the spot it vacated. Sorry part of the plug was shaded. I literally threw it in my tank and it lodged behind a rock. I may take you up on passing on some corals that I can't get to color up. I'm going to make one last attempt on the 400s and see what happens. They're well known pieces that have been around for a while so I know that they can color up, it's just me :worried:
 
I'll be happy to give it a shot. If I can ever learn to count to 10 without using my fingers or keep sticks alive, you can always take them back if and when they color back up. Just don't blame me if the only color they all turn to is white though.
