Here is the latest FTS post my stupid mistakes. I think the final count was 7 corals lost, a couple of them were with me for over 2 years, all started as frags. Some of the frags were ones that I had difficulty finding. The good news is that **it appears** that I've corrected the problems as although I've lost a lot of color, I've not seen further degradation since I corrected the parameters. My best guess is that the low salinity was the biggest issue although I'm sure the alkalinity swings were a significant contributor. This was a huge lesson for me to realize that I should not ignore my equipment and solely focus on water parameters. All things considered, this was pretty minor as I know there are people having much bigger issues. At least I'll be doing my part in helping the economy at CFM this weekend.

Hey Dan,

Thanks again for the frags. The polyps opened up really fast in my tank, they had a good time to heal in your tank. I hope the tip of the tort will color up in a couple of weeks. It was pleasure going over to see your tank and checking out your corals and equipment. Make me want to upgrade my sump and get all that nice stuff to go along with it. Cant wait till a couple months from now to see everything thrive.
What are you going to bring to CFM? My buddy is going to go and he's gonig to keep an eye out for some things for me.

Thanks Brian, I'm looking forward to Sunday's CFM. I know that there will be lots to choose from. Some great vendors and some great hobbiest will have much available but more importantly I'll be able to hookup with some reefers that I only get to see a few times a year.

Michael, It was nice to meet you in person (finally). You're welcome to come by anytime. Let me know how the frags do for you. They are all well healed but I always have repacements should anything happen. I'm only bringing a few pieces to CFM as trades and gifts.

Hey Bryan, Picked up 3 acros and a micromussa. They had some really good stuff there but it was cool to see a bunch of the local geeks turn out. I only see some of those guys once or twice a year. You should have made it up but at least there's RAP in a few weeks.

I wanted to make the trip but I was with the family. I will be going to the RAP for sure I need to go dig for some new frags.
