Man his setup is AMAZING. Like everyone in this thread has stated already. Pictures do not do this tank and LED setup any justice. I saw it in person and was Blown away.

Jae the Tank is Amazing and the work you have done is Aweosme. My hat is off to you for the setup you have built.

The LEDs , and power supplies in this build were not purchased from a retailer ,or even a wholesaler . They came straight from the manufacture in China . They have to make a special run to make the 18,000 - 20,000 K LEDs , and it is not in their best interest to do a bunch of small orders . If you want to get these LEDs , and power supplies at this very low price , you will have to contact NONNA58 (Sue) The TBRC President , I think she is compiling a list for a large order .

What bin are these bulbs?what watt are they?are they Cree xr-e Xp-g or some other brand?I'm kind of curious as to the longevity of these LEDs.I am not trying to put these down by any means,just curious of the brand and if they will hold there spectrum over a long period of time.

No I am not compiling a list for just anyone, I am sorry. The board and I are discussing what we can do for the club members that are interested in building their own. I am sorry for the confusion but if you are not a local member of the TBRC than maybe Jae can help you out. For our members, Chuck should have a thread up on our website shortly about what we have decided to do and to find out who is definitely making their own LED unit.

what was wrong with my pm? This is all I sent back to you. Answering pms at work is kinda hard to do so I have to be short in my explanation.

At our meeting at Jae's house I thought that Ted understood it was a TBRC inquiry into what Jae was doing and if we could involve some of our local members to learn how to build their own by Jae teaching us. The club even took a video of Jae explaining how it is done. I never meant for everybody interested that have viewed this thread to think the club was going to order for anybody. I am sorry about that but this is just our forum on RC and most people are not members of the TBRC. The members dues and sponsor help is what makes things like this and other things we do a perk for its members. For all of you that have never attended a TBRC meeting and see what we do, maybe you should sometime. Jae is a member of the TBRC and does not have to do what he is doing for anybody but he is doing what he can for all of us. We should all be grateful to him for taking his time for this. He has to answer many pm's and so do I. Please think first before judging anybody when you really do not know how hard this board works for this club and its members.

I just followed what jae told me to do u could have simply replied that u wernt organizing and the was it. As far as everyone know this wasn't a tbrc exclusive , the the contact he gave me after words the people were great and more than helpful and pleasant doing buissnes with . Some would be more than glad to attend but sometimes peoples attitudes seem to shine in this area . But back to topic nice tank build jae keep us updated
