How do you wire up the meanwell driver to the digital aqutics system?
Bob
Some really great builds in here, tanks look amazing!
I am sub'ing because I am going to attempt the same for my 150 (72x24x20), when I get everything else ready.
From what I have read I will be using a 1:1 ratio blue/white, and spacing them to 1 LED per 12 sq in (should I go more sq in per LED since I am so shallow? LOL, or adjust lenses accordingly?) I plan to use the Mean Well dimmable ELN 60-48p drivers (2 drivers for 144 LEDs?) and the Typhoon controller that was posted earlier.
Thank you!
Kyle

Two ELN 60-48 drivers will not run 144 LED's. I'm running 2 strings of 11 with one of those drivers right now, it might do 1 or 2 more per string but that driver runs much hotter turned up that high. I run a fan on mine to keep the heat down, but I can't help but think it will affect longevity. If you are looking to run only 2 drivers you need to look for one of the more powerful drivers. You have to beware of those drivers though, as they can output the voltage and amperage to do great bodily harm if you screw something up.
I wouldn't use that many LEDs either...I have a 60x24x24 and have 134 LEDs and is too much. I've ramped them down and limited my photo period and still have great growth. If I was to build again I would plan around 110 total based on the driver outputs. My 2 cents...
