Didn't you say your only putting 300GPH to the fuge? If that is the case 1" is more than enough.
Yes, only 300-400gph most likely. What's the max GPH that can be pushed through 1" pipe (if you know off hand)?

It gets complicated with PSI/volume being the deciding factor, but in simple terms 1" pipe can handle upwards of 2000GPH. Just to give you an idea, a Panworld pump that pushes 1,700+GPH is plumbed with 1" pipe.
On the flipside, 1" schedule 40 will drain approx 8-900GPH if plumbed efficiently
My "creative" use of Uniseals to create a clean transition where the plumbing passes through the wall behind the fuge.
I know better :lol2: you did that to just to see if I would ask the question :lol2:
looks fantastic - great job as always Brett
Very nice, clean, and well deserved great finish!
Looks great. Super clean as always....
Looks great! Nice job as usual.![]()
man you always seem to do great work. I like that you took your time and made it a clean project. My wife only wishes I keep my tank area that clean. what's the plans for the fuge?
could you squeeze in a 25micron sock, where the fuge dumps into sump, that would take care of hitchhikers and microbubbles
Hey drummer, your set up is just stunning!
A bit off topic, but any chance you could post your favorite FTS of your 40, and what were it's specs?![]()
You are close to get to 14,000 posts![]()
