Do you have any optics on the led's? Incredible tank btw. I wish to have color like yours one day
Yes 90degree optics but the leds are really just supplemental to the MH.
I do....I can't raise the lights but I cut the photoperiod to 5hrs from 8hrs on the metal halide and every month or two I bump it up an hour till I reach 8hrs again.Daryll,
Do you raise the lights or change the photo period when you do a bulb change?.
Which bulbs are you running now?
Thanks
Mo
Darryl,
I love that Jedi Mind Trick. I have never seen such a neat rim colour with this one before. Nicely done.
I believe you are thinking of another similar monti....this one is supposed to be an undata. I do have a similar one that is confusa in the same colour pattern but not quite as vibrant.Darryl,

These are not the frags your looking for.......I believe the "force" is strong with him, nice work jedi!
:strooper:
Thanks Tony. I think maybe the key has been that it has been years since I added any wild or maricultured sps. On the rare occasion a frag gets added to my system, besides the fact that I think frags are far less likely to have AEFW, it gets the coralrx treatment and inspection.I never get bored of looking at your corals, I almost go into a sps induced trance hypnotised by the awesomeness!
More pictures please! More!
How have you managed to keep aefw out of your system, what techniques did you use?
Tony
