Ed,

I just read over 120 pages of your prior build thread and this new one and I'm quite inspired. I wish I had the resources and space to do a system like yours, quite jealous. (I have my first child due in lest than 10 days so my Reef dreams will be on hold for now.) Right now I'll have to stick with my 90 & 125 which I my plumb together with a 110gal sump/ lagoon to make my pseudo large tank system.

I am quite intrigued with the Zeovit now that I have to start researching more about that.

Thanks Ellery - good to know I got loyal fans out there now

Keep up the great work! I will be curious how you will incorporate more Fengshui practices in your aquascaping :)

Ellery

Don't make an already complicated hobby more complicated.... but now you got me thinking :rolleye1:

Honestly, our light rack "IS" the "Industrial Look".........
but, you have to remember, my light rack is out of site too.
Our tank is built into the wall.

If I were your wife, and the tank is in the middle of the room AND you already have such a beautiful stand......

I vote for the canopy look, to me it will look unfinished if you do not choose a canopy.
That's my honest opinion. :p

Thanks Sandy - odd I never thought about a floating canopy until now

Looks like it's something I HAVE TO DO now....!!

the tank looks great Ed! love the width too. that removable wier you had made is pretty sweet... seems you have alot of resources at your disposal :) must be nice :D

Well the wier is made by another company that has nothing to do with reefs or tanks for that matter...!!

And so is the stand!!

Guess we sometimes have to be creative and see how we can make used of the resources around us for our used in this hobby !! :D

However, quite a fair bit of coordinating work with different suppliers, if you know what I mean :eek2:

Looking great ED! Man you work fast! Get the aquascape done so we can see what your going to do with it!

Thanks SuperR - that's going to be quite a challenge....the aquascaping part...never really realize this until my tank arrived and saw how shallow the whole thing is with a center overflow

Well...will worried about that once I come to that part! :p

I'm sure you will come up with something original for the aquascaping.

Are you going to keep the canopy low profile and sleek? Not too bulky

:bounce1: :bounce2: :bounce3:  :celeb2: :celeb3:

Well I guess you could say I'm happy to hear you choose the canopy:p

Thanks Sandy :D

Ed are you going to have the canopy continue down to the top of the tank, is is there still going to be some open space above the tank, like the renderings that were done?????? just making sure I am not misunderstanding the plan

Tank looks great Ed. With your attention to detail I think the canopy is a must. It would give to much of the industrial look with out I think. That and you might go blind by it .hahahahah

ah nevermind I see the words "floating canopy" in your post above, I think that answers it!

Yup basically will be close to the rendering, I hope anyway :D Still wait to keep the openness of the tank
