MORE PLUMBING…!

MORE PLUMBING…!

OK, now I’m going to start from the overflow set-up….

You can see very clearly the RED is for return to the CL pump and the BLUE is the return from the CL pump. The Yellow is the 2 x 40mm return to my Sump and one is T-off to feed my skimmer (which is yet to be connected)

I temporary used a while PVC as the return pipe but plan to exchange out for a transparent Acyclic 50mm tube…

The return pump (Ehiem Compact+ 5000) output is connected directly to the Chiller (Green) and the chiller return is send directly into the main tank (Brass)

Both pipes runs under the cabinet plastic skirting with a cut out and will run along my furniture setting to hide the piping.

And this is just for FUN…..you can see the 3 different colors really brings some life into your plumbing…

Next is to work on the plumbing inside the tank…

WOW, I can't believe you said that you hate plumbing??????
Look at how much fun you had
I agree with FadeToGrey, a GENIUS at work.

Ed I haven't looked at your thread in about a week, and I'm floored!!! This CUSTOM build has went from conceptual design to being plumbed in a month. I am in awe of the quality of the build relative to the time frame. Oh and I love color coded plumbing. Keep up the good work. I am guessing at the current pace we should be seeing water soon ;)

Okay, admit it guys, how many of you want to rip out your plumbing and paint them pretty colors too?

HA its like an erector set! Im way to lazy and care way to little to paint my pipes. A sharpy works just fine for labling them.

Ed, went to Pro Coral today! Was amazed. Great place. I decided to build a canopy with ATI T5s and KZ T5s, along with some LED moonlights. Should be good. Thanks again..

Looks good Ed. The brass color had me really concerned for a minute. I thought it was actual brass pipe.

As usual Ed, your prcision beggars belief!

This is the first time that I've seen 'engineering' style hydraulic colour coding in the hobby ... great idea! Gives it a kind of 'Das Haus' feel.

Tone :)

Your plumbing reminds me of arteries, veins, nerves and lymp vessels :D

Maybe somebody on here knows what I mean ;)

I DO HATE PLUMBING - and that's why I wanted to make it a little more FUN rather than a job I hate doing!! This way it will motivated me to do a better job in something I dislike

Erector = a person or something that erects something. A muscle that maintains an erect state of a body part or an erect posture of the body :D

j/k
