nice to see angels and butterflys in another reef environment , as i have recently set up a 240 softie reef for them at my work, would love to add a kleinni to my 11 ft sps system at home for aptasia control. let me know how he works out with you sps corals if you dont mind!

Meanwhile, this is my week’s favorite…. Came in as a plain looking acro and have since color nicely after 3 weeks in the tank!! Can’t complain about the growth too…

Below is how it look when it first got into the tank…..

These two pieces was grown out from a local reefer’s tank. He made some changes in his tank (adding more corals, I presume) and decided to get rid of these 2 colonies… The one that looks a little like a Millie is huge and you can’t see from the picture but this piece is broken into half…

When my friend heard about this, he quickly went to pick it up for me and it’s been sitting in his tank while I was away on my business trip and only got time to pick it up last night.


Hopefully it will do well in my tank…. any idea on ID guys??

I love the fist too!! And that last SPS you posted seems to be colouring up pretty well. FTS anytime soon??

Hey Ed, quick question, what did you draw your plumping plans with? Is that just something basic like paint?

I don't qt my corals - just a 10min dip in Coral Rx. As for fishes, the last few I didn't qt as it was from local reefer tanks, which they tore down. Guess I got lucky But I do have a qt tank on standby thou' for fishes I buy directly from LFS

Something cool happen last night…while I was watching the tank after the MH is off, I suddenly notice a cloud of dust being spray from my LR… and upon inspection it was my turbo deciding to spawn. This was ongoing for at least 10 minutes…. Too bad I have no video cam handy but this is the 1st time for me to see this in my 9 years reefing….



Then all of a sudden, I saw a Gorilla crab in one of my acro and decided to pull out that piece to grab the crab and one thing leads to another and I ended up repositioning some of my corals and only went to sleep at 4am this morning

I really like this piece. If you look closely, you can se the polyps is baby blue. Can’t wait for it to color up

I still need to find myself some different color A. formosa to complete my collection of stag garden :rollface:

Hopefully over time, all these brown sticks will color up. Now what I need is MORE LIGHTS!!
