Might I suggest a tripod, you should be able to then adjust your shutter speed and F stops with a bit more easy.

Great tank to.

Have a tripod too but find it difficult if I want to take top-down shots with it. I need to learn to used the manual setting...than maybe it will get better

If you have the right gear, try reading the Fotos page on my site. That will really spell out the basics for you clearly, and you can read the entire thing while enjoying a cup of coffee.

RBS TAKE II

RBS TAKE II

While sluuuuurping my coffee at Melev.com website....I decided to try again and this time I place my order from an US distributor and should be shipped out within these two days. Delivery by sea should take about 3-4 weeks to arrive.

I order 10 boxes, which should last me a good 10 months of usage. Hopefully this Salt is worth all the trouble I went through to get it!!

Meanwhile, will continue to use TMPro until then. The only problem I have with TMPro is the dKH seems very high and the low Potassium level?? Anyone else experiencing this??

His title says "RBS Take II" so I'm thinking it is that salt I see mentioned from time to time called Reefers' Best Salt or something cute like that.

Did that article help you at all, Ed? I find that coffee daily helps me enjoy my computer time. Chocolate Raspberry is my favorite.

I suspect it is or hope so anyway :)

It does but I got to learn how to do that!! I'm using a Nikon D70 with all the right lenses but don't know how to adjust anything in the manual. Guess I got to dust off the manual and start reading a little

Ed, I have the Nikon D50 & D80, I must say I like the D80 much better!
In your spare time,
look at the manual,

I think the D80 is user friendly!

No matter what, your photography skills just fine, we especially LOVE your FTSs!

Anthias in display - some are still hiding...

They surely add more life into the tank. There are about 3 different species there and each species seem to only school with their own species… My lone anthias didn’t take too lightly on the new additions as he was showing them who’s ‘boss’ the moment these new additions got into the display :eek2:

What I didn’t update as well is my LFS was keeping a wrasse hogfish in quarantine for me for the past few weeks so today has past it’s 7 week so decided to bring it home as well…

I’m really bad with wrasse ID…Seem like a semi adult Spanish Hogfish?? Any ID for this wrasse guys?

I love those anthias, especially when they start to school!
I'm so jealous! I can't wait until our new tank is set up!

Yours seems to be coming along nicely Sandy. Look like you decided to used a combo of MH, T5 and LED for your lighting...going to be sweet!!
