EvolutionZ 65 SPS dominated shallow reef

red millie turned brown slowly comeing back

interesting teal stag which was brown when i got it!

SSC! growing steadily, hopefully will encrust fully soon!

How is that ruby red dragonet doing in your tank? It looks bigger than most that are coming in. Is it eating?

The SPS look awesome btw. I really like the deepwater you have.

the dragonet was doing great for a couple weeks but found it on the floor one day, didn't know they could jump. thanks!

Awesome tank bro! Wich aditives and salt are you using ?

thanks! i uses red sea coral Pro salt and as for additives, mainly :

Grotech ABCM

Can you please share your thoughts on the FM Vitality? What does it do for your tank?

Also, how much rocks do you have in your tank in total?

Thanks.

Very nice! You have a great variety of colors. How often and how much are you dosing MicroBacter 7? Also what are your thoughts on it?

mine didnt grow at all for a long time! suddenly decided to sprout blue tips.

i have some frags (usually small to tiny ones) that refuse to grow until i dosed FM vitality, they look off (but slow), as for other corals their growth rate does seem to increase. However, if you have an unhealthy acro, dosing vitality will most likely make it RTN/STN.

i have about 50-55lbs of rocks inside.

thanks! im dosing 10ml once a week, initially bought to battle cyano, but end up dosing FM bakto blend and the result was amazing, i continued dosing MB7 hoping to increase benificial bacterias.

Some picture updates :

just fragged a few small branches out from this smooth skin acro. seems to be everyone's fav!

had a pretty huge deep red colony but recently decided to RTN, im left with this 2" fella.

red millie growing really fast after encrusting fully!

recent addition, ice fire echinata.

sump tank: very tempted to change into a refugium with many different macro algaes and probably couple of sexy shrimps with nano fishes, but my chaeto is growing so well and pulling nutrients away i am contemplating!

What is your LED schedule, color mix and intensity. I know you talked about it before, but thought I'd ask for an update.
Also, what is your dosing like? And water parameters as of late?

Tank is looking sweet!

thanks bro!

What is your LED schedule, color mix and intensity. I know you talked about it before, but thought I'd ask for an update.
Also, what is your dosing like? And water parameters as of late?

i've changed my lighting to this :

time : A%, B%

1200 : 0,0
1300 : 80,100
1500 : 30,80
1600 : 75,100
0000 : 80,100
0030 : 0,0

i wished the razor had more than 6 time points.

i dose ca and kh and vinegar via a marine magic dosing pump, i don't dose mg as it is kept high with my weekly water change.

my latest water parameters are :

using salifert :

no3: 2ppm (getting lower and lower with the huge growth of chaeto)
po4 : 0ppm
kH : 7.6dkh
ca : 420ppm
mg : 1410ppm
potassium : 410ppm

i figured i should stop dosing vinegar and let the chaeto do the work in nirate reducing, used to have 10ppm and at that point seems to have better color on sps then now. weird..
