Female Clown Rejecting Male Clown to get in the RBTA

I have a pair of ocellaris clowns and I introduced a RBTA around a week ago, three days later, my female clown started hosting it. Since then, every time the male clown approaches the anemone, the female clown goes after it to pick him.

Is this a normal behavior? At night, the male clown sleeps next to the anemone with the female clown.

Yes this is normal behavior. The female is just keeping her dominance, letting the male know that it is her territory first.

Anytime I have moved a mature pair of clowns into a different tank there always seems to be a little bullying on the part of the female. Weather they are hosting and anemone or a clay pot, the female will kick the male out until she gets settled. Usually she will get comfortable within 1-3 weeks.

As stated above this is pretty normal. Eventually she will let the little guy join her. She just needs to prove a point first.
