First tank bred Clarion Angels available

Awesome. I employ very similar techniques in introducing similar species fish into stocked tanks as well as catching fish utilizing my trusty fish trap.

It's very good to know that your company not only acclimated fish to captive life in a reef tank but also habituates them to living with similar species. Great job!

I can't wait until it's listed.

Kevin,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us. That is one beautiful fish, I'm sure he'll go to a home that's just as special.

Kevin as everyone has mentioned above thank you for sharing that stunning footage of the Clarion! It must be hard to get anything done during the day while staring at that tank constantly!:fish1:

Would love to see her in your system...

That's what I was thinking - if this tank were anywhere near me I would have a permanent sitting chair in front of it all day. Those SPS are just crazy dense, looks like a forest!

That tank is awesome in the video. I do have a question for you DFS though, does your store in Rhinelander sell fish, corals, and inverts like at fish store? Or is it more like a supply area. I live in Green Bay and always considered driving up there to look at some livestock for my reef, but was never sure if you guys sold fish locally.

Not trying to steal the thread, I am just curious.

Sent you a PM and yes we do offer both Freshwater and Marine in our Retail Store.

By any chance do you have a picture of the trap you use

I actually just sent the trap to Dr. Sanjay Joshi (PhotonMan) and asked if he could snap an image of it for me. The trap is a tall, slender box with a feeding hole on the top. I installed small magnets to the front of the trap (I hate suction cups) so I can affix it to the front glass. It has a vertical door with fishing line attached so when the fish I am after enters the trap you can pull the line and close the door.

Hello Kevin,
How can i get in contact with you? Can you please pm me. Interested in purchasing two of those beauties.

Sent you a PM.

Thank you again everyone for the wonderful comments. Like a lot of folks here, I am a diehard SPS coral enthusiast and these displays make a great habitat for my true passion, marine ornamental fishes. I honestly get the most pleasure from conditioning and learning more about the not so common species so I can pass them on to others who share the same passion!

Kindest Regards,
Kevin

Another great trap if there is ample room on the bottom of the aquarium is this sturdy one made my Aqua-medic and works in a similar manner.

I prefer this trap to many others, because the sliding door is glass, and therefore heavy, and therefore slides shut easily and quickly.

I can't agree more with the idea of having a good trap, and being very comfortable using it. I'm to the point that I have no fear adding any fish to my tanks, because I know I can trap them and remove them if need be. It's a great feeling :)
