Nice alveopora, but a market value of $35+ is the frame of reference for EF corals that have been in the market for awhile.

we are a smaller club that is attempting to increase attendance. This has included buying pizza for all members at meeting, offering services to members (book checkouts and hopefully soon a par meter), and more.
My offer of low cost frags to members is another way to get people to check our website and stay more involved. Some people decide to sell items for the same prices that can be found at a LFS.

It kinda sounds like you dont get it. This isnt meant to offend anyone, nor insight people to start sticking it to each other :lol: Were talking market value. If something didnt sell out being sold as $5-10 it's a safe bet that it doesnt have a percieved value of $35 or more nor are there any out there currently that I know of that are going at a rate of $35+ for 1-2" frag that I know of even at, except maybe at retail standards. Money aside, Alveopora are not common by any means, but there is not a huge market or niche in trading these corals.

It just that a person who brings a $35+ coral ends up going home with at $35+ coral.
If I brought a coral worth $50 to get into EF and then got stuck with one selling for $10, I would claim unfair....
