FS: Homemade Fish/Reef Food

I had the pleasure of joining Josh PorkSandwich Zoas and a few other locals in making some amazing homemade tank food last weekend. My original goal was to portion these out into 1cm X 1cm cubes in trays I bought off Amazon and sell them to nano/pico keepers. The process of filling the trays was a nightmare, so I've decided to portion them into 1/2 pound (8+ oz) flat packs. They are $10 per bag and I have 10 available. I'm on spring break this week and available daily for local pickup.

The recipe includes:

Shrimp
Oysters
Clams
Squid
Octopus
Shrimp Larvae
Spirulina
Golden Pearls
Dried Cyclops
Dried Rotifiers
Reef Fuel
Spinach
Broccoli
Garlic

I like making my own, it feels good to make a homemade meal for my pets. Plus I like being in the kitchen. Rogers food is Primo though and if I didn't make my own I'd definitely use that....actually that's what I used to use!

It's great that you find it "weird." Others don't, so why not keep the comments to yourselves, rather then come here, try to bash someone, and at the same time try to promote someone else.

Was it weird when the above mentioned seller was starting out and trying to move his/her product? Or it's just weird because I don't donate money to "the club?" I'm not even trying to start a business, just trying a different avenue to meet new people aside from coming to meetings, which I haven't been able to attend due to my own schedule.

Now I understand why so many people I've met have warned me about FMAS. *sigh*

Doggydoc...there is no "topic" for discussion. It's a FS post. If you want to have a discussion, start a topic thread about buying/selling food, not hacking someone else's post.

Keith, I think you took this the wrong way and reacted the wrong way too, I think that the people that recommend that you look into my food is because I am in Weston too but it was not meant to bash you or disrespect your thread, if you noticed most people in this forum has been here for a while and in the most part know each other personally. I no longer sell my food directly unless you get it through the website, However if you ever need some pointers on how to formulated correctly so you can portioned in cubes like you wanted, I’ll be happy to talk to you, in any case is cool to know that there is a new reefer in the area, best of luck!
