It's great that you find it "weird." Others don't, so why not keep the comments to yourselves, rather then come here, try to bash someone, and at the same time try to promote someone else.

Was it weird when the above mentioned seller was starting out and trying to move his/her product? Or it's just weird because I don't donate money to "the club?" I'm not even trying to start a business, just trying a different avenue to meet new people aside from coming to meetings, which I haven't been able to attend due to my own schedule.

Now I understand why so many people I've met have warned me about FMAS. *sigh*

Nothing, very true. Especially since there is more engagement in this club then the one I am actually a member of lol

The OP has a point. It was a sale thread, and if someone is selling food, frags, fish,a tank or a whole setup and someone goes on that sale thread and says "go to x the food is better, or got to y they have more frags etc.." its a douchbag move plan and simple.

I see where you are coming from, that said, if that was the case, we'd all be douchebags here. We all know eachother here and the OP may not have known that. I'm not defending anyone, but because I know the so called "douchebag" here I can honestly say there was no ill intent.

I say we all hug it out, move on, and talk reefs. This thread is about to get locked down anyway.

To the OP, we are all friendly here, we share and call eachother names. It is a good crowd though and I spend more time here on this forum than in other parts of RC. :dance:

Yeah i dont think there was ill intent either, i think the intent was to say making your own food isnt worth the trouble for most. Personally like you i enjoy making my own, but it is based on roggers recipe

People who know me here know damn well I didn't mean to hijack the thread. Just expressing my thoughts. But as always this forum like life has plenty of people who are immature and cannot accept apologies.
People here know I bend over backwards for folks in here.
Been doing this plenty and do not need the hassle of being called a *^%#! in here.
For whatever is worth I already apologize but I guess my apologies weren't accepted.

I would like to publicly apologize for my harsh words. After reading back over the response left by doggydoc, I see how maybe your words were directed at me and for me to not try to make my own food since it "isn't worth the headache," which I admin...filling the trays I bought with such a thick mix was a PITA. That being said, my follow-on comments were reflective of the way I read the initial response. I am not trying to make enemies, but merely felt I was being targeted for trying something different when I came to meeting new people here.

Sorry again, for being over sensitivity. Take care fellow reefers and I hope to get to know some of you a little more.
