Good setup...lots of money in there.

Wondering why you didn't go with starphire though?

djfrankie

Frankie although I've thrown away thousands over the years in this hobby - there's no reason to throw away another b/c of the glass. I've always consider that the starphire difference in my eyes is not noticeable, and since I do the looking decided against it.

I agree with you 100%. Never could justify the added expense of starphire glass myself. I'm not saying there isn't a difference, just not one worth even an extra $100.

Looks like a GC tank? At least the overflow does.

James
James is not GC- the tank was made locally by one of my long time friends, I had some input during the built.;)

Is that a Vortech in the picture? I was under the impression that you were going with Tunze..

Really I am just curious since I am now looking into a new flow solution after I ripped out my CL. The MJ mods work well, but in my tank they are just too obvious.

Husky not much has happened since I've been busy at work.

I will be using two mp40's on one side on sync mode to try to create a wave plus anywhere in between 3-4 6100 tunzes either hiding in deco rocks or from my overflow on the back left.

Once I get my aqua ready I'll be playing around with flow.

Manny the old setup was nice also, I personaly liket it. Would you mind telling us whats diffrent with this setup ?
steve pretty much everything is.

Much more FPL friendly.
One snapper vs two pumps(iwaki + 1100)
Lights 3x400 vs 250x2 plus t5- I'm gonna miss them 400
wider tank- depth wise 24 vs 30
eurobraced vs canopy

I'm still hooking up my two chillers inline but doubt they r gonna be used as much- since the tank is open and the heat will be much less.

My previous equipment was very very good- This time around the tank has top of the line equipment all around.

No worries about this and that- trying to minimize the what if's.

Slowly but surely

Slowly but surely

Things are coming along. Taking care of some aesthetics under the tank to avoid future problems.
Installed one of my aqautronica bars as well as a light ubder the stand and as neatly as I can secured the controllers for the PH's

Still have to deal with the tunzes but all in due time.

Eddie the tank will remain skinless until everything is up and running
I met with our buddy rrigau wood working wizard to start planning first the furniture for the frag tank and then the skin for the whole system

place your master vortec closer to the front so you can reach the friendly feed mode button would save your back.
LOL- thx for the suggestion.
NO such thing in my tank- if u can't catch it u should not be alive in my tank.

There's gonna be so much flow in this tank that my fish are gonna leave that jamaican dude in the dust .;)
